Research

Guided Implant Surgery PhD Researcher, Leeds University

I started this research after having been qualified for nearly ten years. During my undergraduate years at Leeds University I developed a keen interest in Restorative Dentistry, especially the cosmetic aspects of this field. As I progressed, I learned about the  fascinating field of Implantology and Prosthodontics.

After qualifying I decided that I would explore these two fields further by expanding my knowledge with postgraduate study.

Whilst completing my VT year I studied for my MJDF. Just over six years ago I started my postgraduate certificate in the Multisystem Implant Course held at Manchester by Professor Ucer, which I have completed and have since placed nearly one thousand five hundred implants.

Implants and their relationship with complex restorative work in dentistry is my main scientific and clinical interest at the moment and it is a pleasure to be able to take this interest further with research on a related topic.
